Elizabeth (Lucy) Montgomery's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann (Lucy) Montgomery 77 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, January 30th at her home. Lucy was a retired restaurant owner. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, as well as working in her church. Lucy was born September 15th 1939 to the late William Titus Efird and wife Ethel Hopkins Efird. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a Grandson, Christopher Ray Watson and her sisters, Betty Crisco and Barbara Hedrick. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm Saturday, February 4th at Immanuel Baptist Church. Starting at 2:00pm there will be a Memorial and Celebration of life Service at Immanuel Baptist Church 1309 Old Charlotte Rd, Albemarle. The service will be officiated by Rev. Joe Smith. After the service the Family extends the Celebration to the Fellowship hall at Immanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include: husband of 62 years Michael Dion Montgomery: son, Perry Montgomery and wife Sharon Montgomery: daughter Theresa Watson and husband Jimmy Watson: daughter Kim Farlow and husband Robert Farlow: grandchildren: Reagan Clemency and husband Mike Clemency, Jade Kluttz and husband Sean Kluttz, Kaylee Montgomery and Aleea Montgomery: Great Grandchildren, Bradley Wallace and Conor Clemency: Brother in-law Gene Hedrick.
Memorials may be made to Saint Jude Hospital or Immanuel Baptist Church, 1309 Old Charlotte Rd. Albemarle NC, 28001.
