Elizabeth June Burris Efird, 54, of Albemarle passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in her home.? Her funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Smith officiating.? The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care on Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
Born July 14, 1961 in St. Clair, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Joe Burris and Peggy Ritchie Burris and was a homemaker.? She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Lewis Odell Efird, Jr., Shy Burris and Shae Burris who were under her legal guardianship, brother Tommy Joe Burris of Albemarle, stepmother Jane Burris of High Point, NC, stepbrother Ronald Owens of Siler City, NC, and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
