Momma Burris was a true southern lady. She always had a smile on her face or a cheeky grin when she knew someone was pulling a fast one! She was a relentless security guard when strangers pulled in the yard! Every season she made us the best homemade apple turnovers. In her last lucid moments she was making sure her family was happy and letting us know that she loved us and she was happy too. "Live for Lord" was one of the last things she said to me. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Rest in peace Momma Burris with Joe Lee and your Lord. We love you!
