Eleanor Ann MacLeod's Obituary
Ann MacLeod, age 87, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Hospice of Union County.
Eleanor Ann Friend was born on October 26, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Andrew Willard Friend and Ossie Cleo Graham Friend.
A homemaker, mother, and grandmother, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James MacLeod, in 1990; her son Michael Robert MacLeod, in 2014; and her two sisters Phyllis Mace and Pat Hamilton. She is survived by daughters Patrice Heisner and Diane MacLeod, son-in-law Bill Heisner, grandson William Graham Heisner, and granddaughter Cara Reece Heisner.
Family will receive friends at 5:30 PM on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, North Carolina. Services will begin at 6:30 PM.
The Heisner family wishes to thank Hospice of Union County for their dedicated service and care; special thanks to Marci Bodine and Jackie Carpenter. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 West Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110.
