Elaine Mills Tate's Obituary
Mrs. Elaine M. Tate, age 52, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Presbyterian Hospital - Matthews, in Matthews, NC.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Elaine's life will take place Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street Monroe, Nc 28112. There will be an informal visitation after the service Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tate was born on April 20, 1960, in Charlotte,North Carolina, a daughter of Donald Franklin Mills and Martha Carolyn Broome Mills. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Evelyn Broome of Charlotte, NC and James Leroy and Emma Mills of Waxhaw, NC.
Elaine was a secretary and worked most of her life in the hospital / healthcare industry.
In addition to her parents, Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Richard Charles Tate, Sr.; her children, Amber Suzanne Tate of Richmond, Va., Richard Charles Tate, Jr. of Monroe, NC and Brandon Shane Tate of Monroe, NC; and her brother, Donald Franklin (Donnie) Mills, Jr and wife Tammy of Mechanicsville, Va
