Elaine Gorgoglione Sarsfield's Obituary
Elaine Annette Gorgoglione Sarsfield, 71, of Albemarle
passed away February 5, 2019 in her home.
Her funeral service will be 3 PM Sunday, February 10, 2019 in the Stanly
Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Carlos Horne officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of
Memory. The family will receive friends on
Sunday from 1 until 2:30 prior to the service at Stanly Funeral and Cremation
Care of Albemarle.
Born December 27, 1947 in Worcester, MA, she was the
daughter of the late Vincent Francis Gorgoglione and Mary Peris
Gorgoglione. She was a devout Christian
faith and a wonderful homemaker. She
enjoyed going to the beach, family cookouts, her Carolina Panthers and her fur
babies Zack and Rufus. She was a
lifetime bowler.
Mrs. Sarsfield is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Alan Richard Sarsfield, son Paul Vincent Sarsfield (Kristina) of Mt. Gilead, daughter Sheila Marie St. Germain (Steven) of Albemarle, brother Vincent F. Gorgoglione Jr. of FL, sister Patricia Wassel of MA, 7 grandchildren: Michael, Luke, Isiah, Jordan, Melissa, Dylan and Kevin, 1 great-granddaughter, Samantha, 12 nephews, 9 nieces and several great nieces and nephews.? Her sister, Judith Marie McLaughlin preceded her in death.
