Elaine Whitley Richards, 72, of Albemarle, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Read Obituary

I will never forget, one year long ago, our family had a Hollowing Party. Everyone was to come dressed up. Well I came dressed as a Guerilla and before I could turn around Elaine came from behind me and pulled off my head mask. I was really mad about that. But she said you're not going to skare my kids with that. (Sam)
