Edwina Fowler's Obituary
Mrs. Edwina Mullinax Fowler, age 87, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013, at The McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe.
Funeral Services to Celebrate the Life of Mrs. Edwina Fowler will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, officiated by Reverend Rich Myers.
Interment will follow at Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Fowler was born on July 3, 1926, in Statesville, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Albert Roy Mullinax and Ruby Barger Mullinax.
She was married to the late Clayton Eugene Fowler, and was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Fowler.
She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Wade Fowler of Monroe; a grandson, Clay Fowler and wife Crystal of Monroe; two great grandchildren, Austin Fowler and Brooke Fowler; a brother, Dearmon Mullinax of Wilmington, Delaware.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM Monday Night, July 29, 2013, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe.
The family will also receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 30, 2013 , one hour prior to the funeral ceremony at Davis.
