Eddie Anthony Polk's Obituary
Eddie Anthony Polk, 62, of Albemarle passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. His funeral will be graveside on Monday, June 21, at 11 AM at Stanly Gardens of Memory Mausoleum with Megan Depasquale officiating. Entombment will follow. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle.
Born September 13, 1958 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late George Wayne Polk and Ruby Ray Polk. He was a former employee of Clayton Homes and later ran his own business, Carolina Technical Services. He loved riding motorcycles.
Mr. Polk is survived by his fiancé Wanda Gail Locklear of Albemarle; daughters Hailey Smith and husband Ben of Albemarle and Bridget Kaylor; two sisters, Vivian Gregory and husband Buddy of Norwood and Crystal Wooten and husband Mike of Dallas, NC; six grandchildren Cadie, Caitlynn, Camden, Cole, Nyoka and Winter and one great-grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.
