Earnest Parden,'s Obituary
Earnest Parden, Jr. died peacefully surrounded by his family on July 4,2020. He was born to Elmous Hopson Parden and Margaret Bass Barnes on August 20, 1930. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Callie Mae Parden, son, Danny Elmous Parden, and sister, Roszilla Scott.
He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Ann Foust, son in law, Bob Foust of Midland, grandson, Jeremy Lee Clark and wife Andy of Monroe, granddaughter, Shannon Nicole Fisher and husband Shawn of Salisbury, grandson, Stephen Cole Parden of Calhoun, Louisiana, and three great grandchildren, Zachary Lee Clark, Robert Tyler Clark, and Henry Colt Fisher.
Mr. Parden will be remembered as someone who loved his children and grandchildren, being outdoors, working in his garden, fishing, telling stories of his service to his country in the Army, and his life growing up in Louisiana. He retired from Atrium Health Union in 2006 as a Security Officer.
After a private memorial service, he will be returned to his home in Louisiana to be together with his wife, Callie, who enjoyed their lives together for 60 years.
