I have some wonderful memories of Earnest when we were at South Stanly High School. He was just fun to be around and he would do anything for you. We always had a laugh remembering the time I ran over his new tennis shoes in Wink's parking lot and every time I talked to him he asked me when am I going to buy him a new pair 50 yrs later! He was a good man and loved by anyone that knew him and my heart goes out to his family who he loved and his grandchildren was his pride and joy. RIP my friend!
