Earl Trent Locklear's Obituary
Earl Trent Locklear, 66, of Albemarle passed away on August 25, 2023 in his home. His funeral service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Monday evening at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle.
Born February 27, 1957 in Scotland County, NC he was the son of the late Willie Douglas Locklear and Myrtle Loraine Locklear Locklear. He was a former employee of Smith Novelty where he was a furniture builder.
Mr. Locklear is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pamela Vanhoy Locklear of the home. Other survivors include children Wendy Brown of Albemarle, Brian Locklear (Yazmin) of Albemarle, and Earl Locklear Jr. (Brittny) of Albemarle, siblings Rev. Ray Locklear (Patricia) of Denton and Glenn Locklear (Cathy) of Norwood, and five grandchildren Andrea Caudle (Nick) of Polkton, Cameron Brown of South Carolina, Zackary Locklear of Concord, Evan Locklear of Georgia, and Kaden Locklear of Georgia. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brittney Brown and a brother, Bobby Locklear.
