Duane Ray Morton's Obituary
Duane Ray Morton, 81, passed away on Friday October 29, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
Mr. Morton was born December 5, 1939 in Mecklenburg County to the late William Ray Morton and Lilly Whitley Morton. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Duane is survived by his daughters: Angela Schill (Bobby) of Supply, NC, Amanda Marotta of Albemarle, NC, Ahna Maria Johnson (Lewis); grandchildren: Haley Simpson (Jamie), Robert Schill, Jr. (Danielle), Nicholas Marotta, Patrick Marotta, Seraphina Johnson, Charlotte Johnson; great-grandchildren: Abrynne
Schill, McKenna Schill, Gemma Simpson, Mila Simpson; brothers: Roger Morton and Patrick Morton; close family friend: Rocky Hartsell.
