To Willis, Ruth and family. I was so saddened to hear of Dan's passing. We were friends from High School, where he was Drum Major for our band, and through the years after as he was teaching at Monroe High and I repaired musical instruments there. He was such a great person, fantastic musician and wonderful friend. He will be missed by many.
Carolyn, I am so sorry to learn of your brothers' passing. I just learned of it today, I pray you and your family will have peace during this time.Love,Nancy
Carolyn, I am so sorry to hear of your brother's passing at such a young age. He accomplished a lot in those few years. May God comfort you and your family at this time.
I met Daniel while we were music students at Wingate University. He was such a terrific guy and had a infectious personality. His wonderful smile and sense of humor always entertained us. He definitely made a difference in the world and will be missed by many. Ruth and Barbara I am so sorry for your loss. I extend my deepest condolences to your entire family during this difficult time. May God bless you all.
Extending deep and heartfelt sympathy to you and your family!Vera Staton & Family, Marshville, NC
Words cannot express the sorrow and loss that I feel with the passing of Dr. Sturdivant. He was a good educator, a kind man, and he loved being with the students of DCMS. Having been his secretary for the past ten years, I learned a lot about dealing with students and parents from him! I'm going to miss hearing him say "Welcome to the Hill!" Rest in peace Dr. Sturdivant and one day I will look forward to hearing you play in the Lord's Choir.... you'll probably be directing it!!I love and miss you....Nancy
