Doyle James Eudy's Obituary
Doyle James Eudy, 84, of New London, NC, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at his home. His funeral service will be 2 PM Thursday, April 29, 2021 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stoney Benfield officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care from 1 PM until 2 PM prior to the hour of the service.
Mr. Eudy was born September 11, 1936 in Stanly County, NC to the late Lawson Leander Eudy and Cora Bell Herrin Eudy. Doyle retired from Hope Industries of Willow Grove, PA and later worked with SCUSA of Stanly County. He was a member of North Albemarle Baptist Church and was a member of the Albemarle Lodge # 703 A.F. & A.M. Mr. Eudy was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Doyle was preceded in death by his wife, Syliva Joan Davis Eudy. He is survived by a son, Gregory Doyle Eudy of Stanfield, NC; a brother, Hal Eudy of Mt. Pleasant, NC; and two grandchildren, Lawson Eudy and Briley Eudy. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Arnold Eudy and Worth Eudy and a sister, Janelle Wiley.
Memorials may be made to Prospect Baptist Church, 502 Prospect Church Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001.
