Doyle B. Cook, 86, of Albemarle passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehab. Center. His funeral will be 2 PM Wednesday, Sept 30, 2020 at Full Gospel Mission with Pastor Brian Smith and Rev. Mitchel Read Obituary

So sorry to hear of Doyle's passing. I worked with Doyle for about 3 yrs. at Firestone. He was a great guy and I will never forget him. Prayers for his family.

I worked with Doyle at Firestone Tire & Auto back in the summers of '70 & '71. It was hard, hot, dirty work but Doyle's attitude and work ethic made him fun to be around. He was always cracking jokes that made me smile. And, he was the best at changing the big tractor and truck tires. When I think back on those days it is with fond memories because of Doyle. I'm honored to call him a good friend. May he rest in God's peace
