Doris Lil Kirk Baucom's Obituary
Miss Doris Lil Kirk Baucom, age 92, of Monroe, NC, passed away on Monday June 1, 2015 at Jesse Helms Nursing Facility, following a lengthy illness.
Doris was a daughter of the late Alfred and Alice Brooks Baucom. She was a retired executive secretary for the Lance Company of Charlotte.
Funeral Services for Miss Baucom will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Davis Funeral Service Chapel, 1003 E. Franklin Street, Monroe, NC, officiated by Elder Larry Austin. Burial will follow in the Family Memorial Gardens on New Salem Road.
She is survived by a brother, Drexel Baucom, of Monroe and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Dale Haigler, and four brothers, Alfred Baucom, Yates Baucom, Brent Baucom and Trent Baucom.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home on Thursday, June 4, 2015 prior to the funeral service .
