Donna Lynn Richard's Obituary
Donna Lynn Richard, 65, of Albemarle passed away on October 22, 2019 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. A celebration of life service will be held on December 7, 2019 at 2 Pm in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel.
Donna was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Buford and Helen
Richard.
Donna was an exceptional person. Her gypsy soul shines thru
us all. She could do so many things; Jack-of-all trades so to speak: painter,
homemaker, caregiver and loved gardening.
Donna is survived by her daughter Frankie and son-in-law
Benjamin Holmes of Albmarle, NC; granddaughters Addison Richard and JoHanna
Holmes all of Albemarle, NC; son Scott Richard and his life partner Deborah
Bosworth of Monroe, NC; sisters Diane and Late Tony Horton of Mt. Holly, NC,
Pamela and Mike Tucker of Rockwell, NC, Kimberly Richard of Newton, NC; brother
Dale Richard of Albemarle, NC; 4 life long friends Dwight Barron, Pamela
Barrett, Sherry Funderburke, and Carol Laney; 15 nieces and nephews; and 21
great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Richard and sisters Karen Fernandez and Darlene McCall.
Flowers may be delivered to the funeral home on Friday December 6.
