Donna Hudson Harwood's Obituary
Donna Hudson “Mimi” Harwood passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 surrounded by family and friends.
Her funeral service will be at Stanly Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 11:00 am with Nicole Wright officiating. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, April 21, 2021 from 5 to 7pm.
Born September 6, 1951 in Albemarle, NC she was the daughter of the late Allen Hudson and Rachel Hudson. She was also proceeded in death by her sister, Cela “Ann” Hudson. She was a retired Detective with the Albemarle Police Department and past Executive Director of O.A.S.I.S., Older Adult Services in Stanly County. She had a happy life rich with children, a good family and good friends.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Phillip Harwood, daughter Dayshel Harwood, and chosen family Bob LeFloch and his wife Kathy of Albemarle, and chosen grandchildren: Caroline LeFloch, Will LeFloch, Karlee Clontz and Brody Clontz.
