Donna Austin's Obituary
Donna Mitchell Austin 60, passed away Thursday October 2, 2014 at her home.
Donna was born June 22, 1954 in Kannapolis, N.C. to the late Clarence and Virginia Eudy Mitchell.
After graduating from Wingate College, Donna had one career job working at Moore and Van Allen, enjoying 35 years. She had many caring and loving friends while working there.
She enjoyed her many trips to the beach with her husband, Benton. Her dog, Abbey, brought great joy to her while she struggled with her illness. Heaven now has one sweet Angel. Thanks to all her friends that kept in touch over the years, while Donna was sick.
Donna is survived by her husband of 37 years, Benton; two sons, Chad Austin and Michael Austin, and wife, Jatana; two granddaughters Kayla and Peyton. She is also survived by one brother, Robert, one sister, Nellie, and two nieces, Lora Ann and Kristin.

The family will receive friends Monday, October 6, 2014, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, 1 hour prior to the Memorial Service, at Davis Funeral Home at 1003 East Franklin Street in Monroe.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, October 6, 2014, at Davis Funeral Chapel, officiated by Reverend Frank Crump.
Davis Funeral Home of Monroe is serving the family of Mrs. Austin.
