Donald Gray Hardister, 87, of Albemarle passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 in CHS-Northeast in Concord.? His funeral service will be 2 PM Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Burris and Rev. Delane Burris officiating.? Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory.? The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care from 6 until 8 PM.
Born May 2, 1931, he was the son of the late R. C. Hardister and Amanda Pauline Hoover Hardister.? He was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mills and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.? Mr. Hardister enjoyed raising livestock, especially goats, and he was a skilled upholsterer, known statewide for his skill and excellent work.?

and Dustin.
