Donald Wayne Deese's Obituary
Mr. Donald Wayne Deese, age 60, of Monroe, passed away Thursday March 10, 2016 at his residence. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Davis Funeral Service of Monroe.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin St., Monroe, NC, 28112, officiated by Reverend Sonny Rogers.
Mr. Deese was born on January 23, 1956, in Union County, North Carolina, a son of the late John Deese and Etta Threatt Deese. He was preceded in death by his four brothers Robert Deese, Curtis Deese Richard Deese and Archie Deese.
Donald worked as a mechanic at the Texaco gas station in Monroe.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Pressley Deese of Monroe, NC; his three daughters Dawn Angela Grant of Kannapolis, NC, Glenda Pressley of Charlotte, NC, and Brenda Pressley; his two sons Darryl Allen Grant and Christopher Pressley (Gale) both of Monroe, NC; his three brothers Carson Deese (Eloise) and Johnny Deese, and Jimmy Deese (Esabel); his three sisters Florence McCall, Bobbie Staton (Bob), and Beulah Hilton (Larry); his four grandsons Johnathan Stroup (Elizabeth) of Kannapolis, NC, Darius Grant of Monroe, NC, Drake Grant, and Daniel Grant both of Mt. Holly, NC; his three granddaughters Dacoda Grant of Belmont, NC, Samantha Courtney Andrew) of Oakboro, NC, and Amanda Morrison (Travis) of Laffety, GA; his four great grandsons Jackson Ingram of Kannapolis, NC, Christopher (CJ) Pressley, Jr. of Monroe, NC, Jaxon Grant of Mt. Holly and Alexander Courtney of Oakboro, NC;and his five great granddaughters Alyssa Morrison of Laffety, GA, Abigale Pressley of Monroe, NC, Tinsley Stroup of Kannapolis, NC, AJ Courtney, Jr. and Kiara Courtney both of Oakboro, NC.
