Dear Doug and Donna and families,
Your dad has always had a special place in our hearts. Of course, it began with a real estate transaction but our association and friendship continued for decades after that. In all that time, Don lived: loving life, God, his family, his profession- rooted in an acceptance of people that was never derogatory . His ethics were exemplary and his actions were a lesson in moral, responsible behavior that was neither vindictive nor reactionary. He always assured me things would work out. And they did work out ; in all those years, he never said an unkind word about another person.
How proud he remained of both of you and your families. He and JoAnn always had news to share and loved being with you. While your loss is great, may you be comforted by all your wonderful memories and knowing that his life was well lived and will be remembered by many.
