Donald Richard ?Duck Boy? Chance, 56, of Norwood passed away
March 17, 2019 in CHS Northeast. A
memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, March
20, 2019 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Burris
officiating. The family will receive
friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care from 1 until 2 prior to the hour
of the service.
Born November 19, 1962 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son
of Janet Smith Chance and the late Royce V. Chance. He was a carpenter and attended Freedom
Holiness Church.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Chance is survived by his son
Jordan Drew Chance of Albemarle, brothers Ricky Joe Bowers of Norwood and Mark
Edward Chance of Mt. Pleasant, and sister Misty Chance Guernsey of
Sanford.
