Dolores Ann Carter, 64, of Albemarle peacefully passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center. Her funeral service will be at 1 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Stanly Funeral and Cremati Read Obituary
Dolores had been my sister-in-law for only a few months when I became engaged to my first husband. She insisted on giving me a bridal shower and that I wear her wedding dress as my something borrowed. We were both bean poles way back then, she was in way; the sister I never had. I enjoyed those days, but life happens, and we lost touch. However, we talked often during the time I spent caring for my mom, having her to talk to helped during a dark time in my life. Dolores is now at rest, no longer fighting health issues, no longer in pain. Take comfort in the words of our Lord, Jesus Christ and know she is in his hands.
So sorry. I have not seen her in a very long time. I remember going to school and church. She was so sweet. I'm sure she will be missed by many, especially her family. May you have peace knowing she is with loved ones that have passed before her and most of all Our Savior, Jesus Christ! Prayers for you all. ❤️ 🙏♥️
