Diane Helms' Obituary
Ms. Diane Howie Helms, age 76, of Indian Trail, NC, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Pineville Rehab & Living Center.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2019, in the Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC, 28112. A Memorial Service in Diane's honor will be held at 3:00 PMfollowing visitation.
Diane was born May 19, 1943 in Mecklenburg County, NC, the daughter of the late Marshall Foch Howie and Elizabeth Stegall Howie. Diane worked for K-Mart for ten years, and retired from Lance, Inc. after over a decade of dedicated service.
Diane is survived by four daughters; Cindy Lammonds of Monroe, NC, Melissa Helms of Alaska, Angel Helms of Monroe, NC, and Ashley Helms of Monroe, NC, her son, T Y Smith and wife Deborah of Monroe, NC. Survivors also include 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
