Diane Irene Ashworth's Obituary
Diane Irene Ashworth passed away at Taylor House Assisted Living on February
3rd 2024 1:50 pm at the age of 79.
Diane is lovingly remembered by her son, Michael Whaley, grandchildren, Taler
Miranda, Patrick Whaley, Katie Talley, and Christin Whaley, great grandchildren,
Piper Whaley, Mason Whaley, Viviana Miranda, and Guiliana Miranda.
Diane was born in Rolla, MO on February 17th 1944 . She graduated from Baker
High School (Columbus, GA) in 1962. She worked in quality control at Tom's
Foods, in Columbus, GA. She enjoyed learning and sharing Jesus with people,
spending time with family and friends, and shopping.
The funeral service will be held at Stanly Funeral Home, 1835 Badin Rd.
Albermarle, NC, on February 6th 2024 at 11:00am (10:30 lie in-state) with Pastor
Kevin Nowicki officiating. Interment to follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory,
2001 E Main St. Albemarle, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tillery Compassionate Care.
