Derek Scott Holcomb's Obituary
Derek Scott Holcomb, 55, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday,
March 9, 2019 in Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis. His family will receive friends at Stanly
Funeral and Cremation Care on Wednesday evening, March 13, 2019 from 6 until 8
PM.
Born January 23, 1964 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of
David Phillip Holcomb of Albemarle and the late Wilsie Mabry Fincher. He was a carpenter and formerly worked with
Schult Homes in Rockwell. He served his
country honorably in the US Army.
Mr. Holcomb is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Kristi Lowder Holcomb, sons Devin Scott Holcomb of Albemarle and Derek James Tucker of Spartenburg, SC, and a brother Kyle Phillip Holcomb of Albemarle. A brother, Todd Eric Holcomb preceded him in death.
