Dennis Earl Mullins' Obituary
Dennis Earl Mullins passed away on September 3rd 2023 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. His funeral service will be at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Hindman, Kentucky on Saturday, September 9th.
Born on Jan. 15, 1951, he was the son of the late Carmen and Myrtle Mullins. He moved to Elgin, Illinois after high school and started his family life while working at Marison Company until 1989. He relocated to Monroe NC in 1989 and finished his career at IMO Pump as a machine operator.
Dennis loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. After retirement, he spent his time at home with his girlfriend, Susan Metheney, whom he loved deeply, and enjoyed traveling to his property in Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Judy Mullins. Dennis is survived by his two brothers; Fairley and Vernon, and one sister, Joyce Collins. Three children; Ross (Lili), Donnie (Dawn), and Ryan (Fran). Six grandchildren; Nathan, Ashlee, Wesley, Cameron, Trevor, Ben, and six great grandchildren.
