Dena Thomas' Obituary
Mrs. Dena Kiker Thomas, age 55, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016, at her residence.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Grace Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Joe Haskett. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Thomas was born on May 11, 1961, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of Gene Kiker and the late Bobbi Lee Mullis Kiker. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Kiker Baker.
Survivors include her husband, James Alvin Thomas of the home; her father, Gene Kiker of New Salem; one sister, Susan Haskett of Colonial Heights, Virginia; two brothers-in-law, Norman Thomas and L.S. Thomas, both of Monroe; two sisters-in-law, Gale Starnes of Monroe, Kathy Thomas of Marshville. There are numerous nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 29, 2016, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, one hour prior to the service; at Grace Baptist Church; 3411 Weddington Road in Monroe.
