Della Rae Crayton's Obituary
Della Rae Crayton, 86, of Stanfield passed away on Wednesday February 14, 2024, at Spring Arbor of Albemarle. The Funeral Service will be at 3PM Sunday February 18, 2024, at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Nance and Rev. Tab Whitley officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM on Sunday February 18, 2024, at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church.
Ms. Crayton was born on April 14, 1937, in Stanly County, NC to late James and Mamie Barbee. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl B. Crayton. She was also predeceased by a son Earl Crayton Jr. and grandson; Jamie Crayton
Ms. Crayton is lovingly survived by daughters, Bonnie Barbee (Jeff) of Oakboro, Angie Morton (Randy) of Albemarle, Amie Swaringen (Jeff) of Oakboro, grandchildren; Shanna Goldman (Chris), Keri Mauldin (Scottie), Krista Fraley (Corey), Tad Morton (Emily), Lindsey Huneycutt (Dustin), Tanner Furr (Erica), Allie Furr, Matt Morton (Corey) and great-grandchildren; Maddie, Eli, Brody, Luke, Callie, Jack, Corrine, Clara, Ledgen, Jovie, Winslow, Dayton and close family friend; Short Eudy.
Ms. Crayton was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She really enjoyed cooking and especially Sunday dinners when all the family was there. In her early years she was very active with the church where she taught Sunday School.
