Debra Hill Lowder's Obituary
Debra Dale Hill Lowder, 68, of New London, passed away on
Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Carolinas HealthCare System Stanly. A memorial
service to celebrate her life will be held at 2PM on Sunday, March 3, 2019 in
the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev.
Stoney Benfield. Visitation will be held from 12:30-2 prior to the service at
the funeral home.
Mrs. Hill was born October 11, 1950 in Stanly County to the
late Helen Shaver Aldridge and Zeb Lee Hill. She was a member at Prospect
Baptist Church. Debra was the co-owner of Quality Home Fashion before opening
her own business Carolina Sewing.
Debra is survived by her husband of nearly 53years John William
Lowder of the home; daughter Lisa Lowder Davis (Robert) of Richfield, NC; son
John William Lowder, Jr. (Caroline) of Goose Creek, SC; brother Tony Hill
(Brenda) of Millingport, NC; sister Judy Aldridge (Phil) of Harrisburg, NC;
grandchildren Terry Mauldin, Whitney Mauldin, and Gage Lowder; great-grandchildren
Elena, Mikel, Caden, Connor, Addison, Jameson, and Camden. She is preceded in
death by her brother Kim Edward Hill.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving
the Lowder family.
