Dawn Wiles Sharpe's Obituary
Dawn Maria Wiles Sharpe, 56, of Mt Pleasant, NC went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 20,2021, at her home. She was born on October 29, 1964 in Columbia, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She graduated in 1983, from Spring Valley High School in Columbia, SC, and was a lover of Arts. She was employed by Academy Sports in Kannapolis, NC, and loved her job, as well as her co-workers.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Alton L Sharpe, Jr; her son, Alton L Sharpe, III (Kathy); her daughter, Sara M Sharpe; and 4 grandchildren, John-Robert, Selena, Addison and Sebastian. She also leaves behind her beloved Cocker Spaniel, Payton, who she undeniably cherished.
Dawn was a fun-loving, strong woman with a beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Family was very important to Dawn, always making birthdays and holidays special. She was an avid fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks, loved spending her time on the beach, and had a soft spot in her heart for animals. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed. Private family services will be held, while a memorial service for Dawn will be held at a later date.
