David Webster Turner's Obituary
David Webster Turner, 73, of Oakboro died peacefully in is home on November 11, 2020. David was born on June 24, 1947 in Cabarrus County to Brady and Ruth Burleyson Turner.
David was a retired Truck driver and a Vietnam Veteran. He was devoted to his Family and friends, but his second greatest joy in life was fishing.
Anytime you couldn?t find Pawpaw at home you knew he was most likely out on his boat fishing.
David was predeceased in death by his beloved wife Cathy, his father and mother, Brady and Ruth Turner, and his brothers Larry and Gary Turner.
He is survived by his children, David (Nina) of Albemarle, Melissa Harwood (Jerry Wayne) of Holden Beach, and Kayla of Albemarle.
His sisters Nancy (Jean) Nichols (Ron) of High Point and Cynthia of York, SC.
His four grandchildren Justin, Hailey, Jessica and Andy.
Services will be held at Oakboro Cemetery on Monday, November 16, at 1:00pm
The family will be receiving friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care, Albemarle NC on Sunday, November 15, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to Oakboro First Baptist Church.
