David Lee Starnes' Obituary
Mr. David Lee Starnes, age 56, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014, at his residence.
Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be conducted at 6:30 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Immanuel Baptist Church at 9112 Lancaster Highway in Waxhaw; officiated by Reverend Al Brigman.
Mr. Starnes was born on December 28, 1957, in Union County, North Carolina. He was a machinist.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Starnes.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Honeycutt Starnes of the home; three sons, Michael Starnes and girlfriend, Mandi Brown, of Marshville, Matthew Lee Starnes and wife, April, of Monroe, Robert Mitchell Starnes and wife, Jennifer, of Waxhaw; five grandsons, David Starnes, Dillon Starnes, Dalton Starnes, all of Marshville, Ashton Starnes of Monroe, Bentley Starnes of Waxhaw; three granddaughters, Megan Starnes of Marshville, Alexis Newton and Kayla Newton, both of Monroe; five brothers, Marvin Starnes, Ted Starnes, both of Richmond, VA, Gene Starnes, Joe Starnes, Eddie Starnes, all of Monroe; and two sisters, Loretta Barbour of Richmond, VA, and Betty Erickson of Mebane, NC.
The family will receive friends following the service.
