David Leroy Plott's Obituary
David Leroy Plott, 82, of Stanfield, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. His graveside service will be 2pm Friday, October 6, 2023 in the Loves Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith Walters officiating. No visitation will be held.
He was born March 15, 1941 in Blairsville, GA to the late Jerman Blake Plott and Leila Victoria Barnes Plott. David was employed with Plott Electric in Stanfield. He formerly worked with his brother, JB in Atlanta, GA.
Mr. Plott is survived by his wife, Carol Lee Drye Holmes Plott of the home. He is also survived by two sons, Michael Plott and Charles Holmes (Sarah) all of Stanfield, NC; three grandchildren, Brandon Holmes, Kevin Holmes and Deanna Hall and three great-grandchildren, Mason Hall, Ellie Hall and Penny Hall. David is also preceded in death by a brother, JB Plott and three sisters, Marie Esther Plott Price Allen, Blanch Luemma Plott and Mabel Grey Plott.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust is serving the Plott family.
