David Thomas Haire's Obituary
David Thomas Haire, 58, of Knightdale, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at his home. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday Feb.? 11TH at 2:00 pm, at the Morrow Mountain Lodge (beside the park Office).
Mr. Haire was born May 10, 1958 in Stanly County?to Markla Gist Curlee of Oakboro and the late David Pat Haire. ?Other survivors include his longtime companion, Jackie Dziewa of Knightdale, NC, her daughter Desiree and husband Joshua Leiner of Texas,? , sister Tina Haire Carter and husband F. Wayne Carter of Millingport, NC, brother Tony Haire and wife Gail Haire of Badin NC. Stepsons, Josh and Justin Talbert of Florence, SC. ?Nephew Justin Carter and wife Suzanne, Holly Williams and husband Derek , Heather Shaver and husband Jeremy, and Christy Pickler and husband Sean.
He served in the US Air Force as a demolitions expert in Great Falls Montana. He was a senior airman at the time of his discharge. After his service David worked in financial services and sales for most of his life. He was blessed with the ?gift of gab? and never met a stranger. He was also a loyal Tarheel fan as well a diehard Carolina Panthers supporter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial Contributions can be made to the charity of choice or as David would probably say ?Just pay it forward?.
