David Lyndol Arnold's Obituary
David Lyndol Arnold, 59, of Mt. Gilead, NC, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023 at his home. His memorial service will be 2pm Saturday, October 7, 2023 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel of Albemarle with Pastor Ron Loflin officiating.
He was born October 29, 1963 in Genesee County, Michigan to the late Eugene Arnold and Nancy Robinson. David was selfless and a man of few words, but when he spoke everyone listened, being a voice of reason. He was a “Cool Hand Luke” and always full of laughter. David was a master carpenter and a jack of all trades.
Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife, Karen Jean Boone Arnold of the home. He is also survived by two daughters, Jennifer Symons (John) of Rock Hill, SC and Miranda Ireland (Danny) of Flint, Michigan; two sisters, Terri Bindschatel and Laura Mann; sister-in-law, Shari Boone; brother-in-law, John Boone (Cheryl Free); three grandchildren, Lola Jean, Lana Renee and Malcolm Lewis; good friends, Benji Boggs and Brian Moore and many nieces and nephews. David was also preceded in death by his in-laws, Jerry and Sandy Boone, sister-in-law, Vicki Hahn, nephew, David Hahn and his feline companion, Lisa.
