David Allen Aaron's Obituary
David Allen Aaron, 41, known to many as "Gator," passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in Atrium Health Main. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Futterer officiating. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care immediately following the service.
Born April 19, 1983, in Polk County, FL, he was the son of the late Donnie Aaron and Patricia Dry Aaron. He was a distributor with Bimbo Bakeries and served many local stores in Albemarle. He formerly worked for the NC Dept. of Corrections. David enjoyed golfing, Eric Church, and took great pride in his Bourbon collection. He loved spending time at the beach and traveling with his family. David was a huge fan of the Carolina Panthers and University of Alabama football. Roll Tide!
David is survived by his wife of 14 years, Ashley Flake Aaron, and two children Aubrey Aaron and Austin Aaron. Also surviving are a brother Derek Aaron of Norwood, father-in-law Robert N. Flake of Albemarle, mother-in-law Cindy Dry and husband Benton Dry of Albemarle, sister-in-law Jackie Flake of Albemarle, as well as a niece Kennedy Aaron and nephew Deonte Aaron. He also leaves behind many close friends and other relatives to mourn his passing.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Stanly County Humane Society, 2049 Badin Rd., Albemarle, NC 28001.
