Darlene Harrison's Obituary
Darlene Harrison, 87, passed away on Friday, June 23rd, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Saturday July 1st, 2023 at Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro, NC, officiated by Pastor Ron Loflin. Burial to follow. There will be no formal visitation.
Mrs. Harrison is survived by her husband, Charles Harrison. Mrs. Harrison is also lovingly remembered by her sons, Charles Harrison (wife Mae) of Greensboro and John Harrison (wife Erin) of Apex. One daughter; Sherry Brown (husband Scott) of Stokesdale. Seven grandchildren, Jonathan Fox, Daniel Walsh, Cami Walsh, Andrew Harrison, Sean Harrison, Christopher Brown and Russell Brown and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Harrison is also survived by her sister, Patsy Litten of Burlington.
Mrs. Harrison was born in Cloud Chief, Oklahoma on January 25th, 1936 to the late Andrew and Hanna Holliman. Mrs. Harrison is also predeceased by her daughter Shannon Walsh and one sister Deanna Upchurch. Mrs. Harrison was a strong Christian woman who enjoyed her flowers, gardening and was an avid reader of religious books. Mrs. Harrison loved all aspects of living the “Lake Life”.
