Danny Lynn Helms' Obituary
Danny Lynn Helms rode his last ride on January 28, 2025. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle.
Danny leaves behind his loving wife, Angela Helms, who he was married to for 29 years. In addition to his wife, those also left to cherish his memory are his children, daughter Schyler (Kashida) Sharp and son Daniel (Luz) Helms, their children Daniel Jr with one on the way, grandchildren Autumn and Davian, siblings, brother Brian (Tammy) Helms, and sisters Sherry and Rhonda, beloved nieces and nephew Megan, Kristy, Samuel, Morgan, and Miranda, great nieces and nephews Kamden, Addi, Jacob, Daylan, Rylan, Jaxsan, Sawyer, Brittley, and Noah.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Helms, his stepfather, John Jones, his son, Derick Poplin, and his brother, Steven Helms. Danny’s mother, Annette Jones, who passed just a few days later, is now reunited with Danny in heaven’s streets of gold!
There was nothing he loved more than riding his motorcycle and feeling the freedom, it gave him. He will be greatly missed and forever riding in our hearts!
