Daniel George Morris' Obituary
Daniel G. Morris, 75, passed away at home on August 7th, 2024.
His funeral service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Congregational Christian Church in Albemarle. A visitation will be held at 1:00pm prior to the service.
He is survived by his wife Brenda, daughters Crystal Morris McPherson (friend Tim)
and Cherie Karnes (husband Toby), son Dan Morris (wife Samantha), and 6
grandchildren. Sisters, Linda Laton, Annette Lowe, Dianne Mastin.
He is predeceased by his parents, Doss and Elsie Morris, brothers Sam Morris and
Benjamin Morris.
George was born in Morven, North Carolina on March 3, 1949. He joined the United
States Marine Corps in 1968. He graduated from Stanly Technical Institute. He retired
as a crane operator at Alcoa. George enjoyed fishing and working in the garden.
