Daniel Edward McDaniel, 75, of Albemarle passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in his home.? A service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
Born May 17, 1942 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of the late Albert Paul McDaniel and Pauline Poplin McDaniel.? He worked in maintenance with Genpak and formerly attended the East Albemarle Church of God.? He was a member of Sanford Masonic Lodge #151 A. F. & A. M.
Survivors include his wife Barbara McDaniel, sons Daniel B. McDaniel (Kristen) of Kannapolis, Mike McKinney (Peppar) of Aberdeen, and Rodney McKinney (Denise) of Concord, daughters Lisa Cox (Jimmy) of Oakboro, Heather Shepherd (Travis) of Hendersonville, brother Jake McDaniel (Pam) of Albemarle, sister Jean Burris of Albemarle, 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.? A son Daniel Kim McDaniel and a sister Talley Bennett preceded her in death.
