Daniel A. Knighton's Obituary
Daniel "Danny" A. Knighton, 57, of Concord, NC passed away at his home. Two Memorial Services will be held. Saturday February 3 at 2 PM at St. Stephens Wesleyan Church in Concord with Pastor Gary Morris officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 PM to 2 PM. There will be another Memorial Service Sunday February 4 at 4 PM at First Wesleyan Church in Lincolnton, NC with Pastor Tommy Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 PM to 4 PM prior to the service.
Born June 24, 1966 in Lincolnton, NC Danny was the son of the late Roland Knighton and living Betty Woolly Knighton of Lincolnton. He was a skilled carpenter and ran a sawmill for many years.
Danny loved the Lord and attended church regularly. He enjoyed his dogs, Sundrop, gospel music, watching movies and hard work. Danny always took pride in his work and ensured all his projects were done right.
Danny is survived by his sister Melony Barbee (Wayne) of Concord, brother Rick Knighton (Kymo) of Lincolnton, NC, nephews, Hunter Barbee, Travis Godfrey, and his dogs, Dipstick, Rascal, Mia, Kitty.
