Daniel Eugene Culp's Obituary
Daniel Eugene Culp, 76, of Albemarle passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in Atrium Health-Pineville. His funeral service will be Friday, January 5 at 2 PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Lisenby officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 till 1:45 at the church. Burial will follow the service in Faith Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born December 10, 1947 in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late Lex Milton Culp and the late Pansy Marie Barringer Culp. Daniel was a disabled veteran of the US Army having served two terms in Vietnam. He retired with the ABC Board of Cabarrus County and worked in the Mt. Pleasant ABC store. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Mt. Pleasant and was an avid deer hunter. Mr. Culp loved his friends and family dearly.
He is survived by his wife Billiephine Culp, son, Jeffrey Culp of Mt. Pleasant, and daughter, Kimberly Culp (Joshua Avalos) of Albemarle. He is also survived by his brother, Larry Culp (Denise) of Concord, NC, sister, Peggy Clontz (Jerry) of Mt. Pleasant, granddaughter, Kristen Culp of Concord, and great-granddaughter, Kolbie Culley of Concord.
