Dana Blackson's Obituary
Mrs. Dana Marshall Blackson, age 50, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at her residence.
Mrs. Blackson was born on December 26, 1963, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, a daughter of Betty Spong Marshall and the late Maynard Marshall, Jr. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Shawna Reece Furr of the home; one step-son, Zachary Blackson of Charlotte; her mother, Betty Spong Marshall of the home; special friend and godmother Mildred Robbins, and special beloved dogs Tia, Maxie, Charlie and feline friend Stripper.
