Dallas J "D.J." Jacinto Morrison, 37, of Albemarle passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. The family will receive friends from 1-5PM on Friday, June 4, 2021, at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care in Albemarle, 1835 Badin Rd. Albemarle, NC 28001.
D.J. was born March 2, 1984, in Fayetteville, NC to Terry Andre Morrison and Jane Gutierrez Langston. He enjoyed fishing and was a good-hearted person. D.J. was known as a hard worker and always made everyone laugh when he was in the room.
He is survived by his mother: Jane Gutierrez Langston (William) of Gold Hill, NC; father: Terry Andre Morrison of Albemarle, NC; daughter: Mallary Jayne Morrison of Salisbury, NC; grandfather: San Jacinto Gutierrez of Fayetteville, NC; sister: Brandi Leann Morrison of Gold Hill, NC; Brittney Marie Craig (Bryson) of Chesterfield, SC; brother: Austin Kyle Morrison of Norwood, NC; step brothers: Benjamin Jason Langston of Gold Hill, NC; wife: Jackie Paden Martinez; several nieces and nephews, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
D.J. was preceded in death by his grandmother Shirley Temple Locklear Gutierrez and his stepbrother Christopher Jerome Langston.
