Dalia Frances McElveen's Obituary
Mrs. Dalia Frances Barrineau McElveen, age 86, of Wingate, North Carolina, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 .
Graveside funeral services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, October 17, 2014, at Midway Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Eric Cook.
Mrs. McElveen was born on December 12, 1927, in Lake City, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Albert Barrineau and Elizabeth Coker Barrineau. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Thomas McElveen on April 1, 2014.
She was a retired clothing associate at Peebles and Sun Seekers in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Survivors include her daughter, Gwendolyn McElveen Caskey and husband Kenneth, of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a daughter in law, Cynthia McElveen of Mooresville, North Carolina; and a sister, Sarah Seavert of Sumter, South Carolina.
There are four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the gravesite.
