Cynthia Ann Kuehl's Obituary
Cynthia Ann Kuehl, 58, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in her home. Her funeral will be Friday, September 30 at Central United Methodist Church at 11 AM with Rev. Jim Yow officiating. The family will be receiving friends Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30PM at Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care.
Born November 2, 1957 in Olympia, Washington, she was the daughter of the late LuLu Mae Terrance Helman and Carl Helman. Cynthia graduated with a Master?s Degree from Ball State University in Special Education and another Master?s Degree from University of North Carolina-Greensboro in Library Science. She worked at Badin Elementary School as a Media Specialist.
Cynthia was an active member of Central United Methodist Church and loved being involved with youth ministries and teaching. She also had a love of traveling and holiday festivities, but most of all she loved her family.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Allen Kuehl of the home. Other survivors include three children Devin, Ethan, and Taylor Kuehl, one brother Jeff Helman of Indianapolis, Indiana, and two sisters, Connie Smith of Lebanon, Indiana and Cathy Helman of Indianapolis, Indiana.
