Curtis Franklin ?Sam? McManus, Jr., 84, of Rockwell passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at The Meadow?s of Rockwell. A private graveside service will be held at Mill Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Midland with Rev. Read Obituary
So sorry to hear of Sam's passing. I was a paper salesman with Caskie Paper and called on him when he was teaching Graphic Arts at the old Endy School. He even asked me to be a judge at one of his Graphic Arts demonstrations. I know a he taught a lot of students and many are still in the printing industry today. My condolences go out to his entire family.

Thank you for the kind words Jeff. He enjoyed his students and his time teaching at WSHS. I think the 70's and early 80's were some of his best years.

Mr. Mac, my favorite high school teacher taught me so much about so many things. I have wonderful memories about Mr. Mac, his graphic arts classes and students. He will always be remembered by me for his love of the graphic arts, his steady encouragement and a kind heart. My thoughts and prayers are with the family for your loss. RIP to a truly great mentor and friend.
